OUR FOOTPRINT
We take as little from the Earth as we can. Our focus is on producing what is needed, creating collections in small batches to meet demand without excess supply.
Through embracing a classic and timeless design philosophy, we inspire customers to invest in enduring styles, minimising unnecessary purchases in future seasons. Each and every piece crafted is carefully considered, reducing waste and ensuring our production process is as environmentally friendly as possible.
Additionally, we transport the majority of our goods by ocean rather than air, which reduces carbon emissions by over 90%
FIBRES FOR A BETTER FUTURE
The journey to a sustainable future starts with the fabric your Waldrey garment is constructed from. We endeavour to use only natural fibres when crafting our collections.
When grown and manufactured ethically, natural fibres are kinder to the land and our skin, and are both durable and hard-wearing. Our preferred fibres, such as cotton and pure linen, can be composted or recycled at the end of their life.
As we produce our collections primarily in India, it is important to us to use fabrics and fibres that can be sourced locally.
Whenever possible, we use digital printing which reduces water waste which is hugely important to us and our supply chain.

At the core of our business are the valuable relationships we've formed with our trusted supply chain. These partnerships, built on trust and respect, enable us to craft limited edition pieces while keeping our environmental footprint as low as possible.
We prioritise fair treatment of workers and artisans within our supply chain, and commit to working with makers who share the same values that we do.
REPSONSIBLE PACKAGING
We have taken our choice of packaging very seriously. Our goal is to keep our environmental footprint as small as possible.
We have chosen to partner with Hero Packaging and Grounded Packaging, both teams of passionate individuals dedicated to having a positive impact on the world, extending well beyond replacing plastics. Just like us.
Our brand and care labels are crafted from 100% unbleached cotton, while our customer notes, shipping stickers and swing tags are all recyclable or home-compostable.
Our signature cotton rope ribbon is also perfect for reusing, and 100% compostable when ready for its next life.
GARMENT CARE FOR MOTHER EARTH
• In order to prolong the life of your Waldrey garment, we recommend spot cleaning when necessary and hanging your garment in the fresh air and shade to dry.
• Always read the care labels and follow washing instructions, delicate pieces must be given extra love and care.
• Opt for a full load when washing to reduce water and energy consumption. Try a cool wash to conserve energy.
• Always wash your garments with environmentally friendly washing products that are soft on both the environment and your garments.
• Avoid using the dryer and hang garments to dry in the fresh air and shade to dry.
• Ensure wardrobe storage remains dry and clean to steer clear of any dust mites.
• For minor repairs, use a needle and thread.
