From the very first moment of Waldrey’s inception, the vision was to create clothing that celebrated the makers that brought our design vision to life. Forever inspired by the vibrant colours, artisan crafts and creative heritage of India, I knew the first moment I stepped foot in Delhi, that this would be the place the brings this brand to life.
In March 2024 we visited our talented partners to watch our very first range in production and in the talented hands of the its makers. We work with multiple partners in India- our shoes, bags and garments are handcrafted in Noida, Delhi, while we work with another female owned manufacturing partner based in Jaipur. It was our first time in the pink city and it has provided endless inspiration for future Waldrey collections.
It is difficult to explain the feeling of finally seeing everything you have poured your heart into, slowly come to life. We are so incredibly grateful for our partners and artisans in India- it is truly their skill, dedication and experience that give each and every Waldrey piece, its heart.
